Harbor East
The jewel of downtown, Harbor East is one of Baltimore’s most sought-after neighborhoods. Stretched along Baltimore’s waterfront, Harbor east is an easy walk from the city’s historic sights and attractions as well as top rated restaurants and boutiques. It is a destination where you will want to be and be seen.
Sip & Socialize
For the first sip of the day, head to Ceremony Coffee Roasters in Harbor Point. Over a warm cup of joe, you can relax or work remotely while overlooking the harbor and iconic Domino Sugar building. Stick around in the afternoon to enjoy their selection of draft beer, wine, and small-batch cocktails.
Located on the ground floor of the Four Seasons Hotel, Loch Bar is a classic Maryland Oyster House. Home to one of the region’s largest raw bars, a variety of oysters rotate daily, in addition to menu staples including sharable shellfish towers, lobster rolls, crab cakes, handcrafted cocktails, local craft beer, and Baltimore’s largest whiskey list.
During the Spring and Summer months, one of the most unique outdoor experiences along the waterfront promenade is Ouzo Beach. An extension of Ouzo Bay Mediterranean Kouzina, Ouzo Beach resembles the elegant courtyard of a Mediterranean-style villa with gates, stone, marble, lush greenery, and a large wooden trellis. Feel the breeze coming off the harbor while enjoying wine, cocktails, and light bites.
Coming soon in spring 2022 is the new Kneads Bakeshop, a concept planned by H&S Bakery, the family-owned and Baltimore-based brand founded in 1943. Kneads is an artisan bakeshop and café that specializes in handcrafted bread and baked goods made from scratch in-house, as well as a café menu that features gourmet sandwiches and pastries.
Dining
Walk into The Bygone and you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back into the roaring glamour of days passed. A truly “elevated” experience set at the top of the Four Season hotel, the American gastro bistro blends modern with classic reminiscent of a 1920’s social club. Signature whiskey bar and craft cocktails are perfect pairings with contemporary dishes made on an open rotisserie grill.
You can’t go wrong heading to the Atlas Quarter - a cluster of buzzy restaurants on Fleet Street. From Monarque, the French steakhouse with over 500 French wines and a Cognac collection, to Tagliata, an Italian Chophouse with a Tuscan vibe, to Italtian Disco, a casual Italian-American pizzaria and the Elk Room’s distinct cocktail experience with a speakeasy vibe, named one of Esquire magazine’s best bars in 2018.
Bravo-lovers will want to check out Bar ONE, founded and owned by Atlanta-based entrepreneur Peter Thomas of BRAVO’s Real Housewives of Atlanta. The new restaurant features a fusion of home-style cooking from the deep south combined with vibrant Afro-Caribbean cuisine.
